“The Riggs House” is a family musical collaboration consisting of legendary celebrity vocal coach Seth Riggs, his wife Margareta Svensson Riggs, and their daughter Samantha Svensson Riggs.
When launching the musical project, the trio chose a cover of Michael Jackson’s iconic track “Beat It” produced by the Klubjumpers at WestLake Studios mixed and engineered by Al Machera, Hayden Duncan as their very first official single. Westlake is famously revered as the creative birthplace of Michael Jackson’s Thriller—the best-selling album of all time—which was painstakingly recorded in Studio A and Studio B alongside producer Quincy Jones. The choice holds a deep connection, as Seth Riggs famously worked as Michael Jackson’s long-time vocal coach, including during the era Jackson recorded the Thriller album. The family released the track with an uplifting message to their listeners: “You can do it! Whatever tells you otherwise — Beat It!”
